Let Rose Design Build be the design architect for your next project. Our expert team achieves efficiency and success with our turn-key fully integrated planning, design, and construction services for clients in the greater Kansas City metro and beyond.
Our team works together to identify and fully understand your needs and to balance the expertise needed to complete the scope of work. We help outline the scope of work for the development, assist in creating a budget for materials, and make strategic design recommendations to maximize the use of functionality and space. Schematic Design
During this phase of the architectural design process, we’ll take the information we’ve gathered from our field surveys to create design concepts for your consideration. We’ll generally present these concepts in the form of site sketches and floor plans, so you can visualize the different routes your commercial or industrial project could take.
We’ll also provide rough estimates of the concepts to aid you in selecting a design that meets your aesthetic, preferences and budget requirements. You’ll also have the opportunity to request any modifications you’d like us to make on your preferred design. Once you have selected a design that best suits your needs, we begin the process of refining the design during the Design Development phase.
Design Development
At this point, we’ll take the schematic design you selected, as well as any request modification and revise the design as necessary.
We’ll also update the estimate to reflect any changes we’ve made to the initial design.
We take our clients' budgets very seriously and continually strive to provide accurate estimates throughout the early stages of design.
This phase may require additional give and take as we work with you to finalize the details of the design before moving into the next phase.
Construction Documents
By now, we’ll have settled on a final architectural design and will begin preparing drawings, notes and technical details necessary for bidding, construction, and permit application.
This is the phase that includes all of our consultants including structural, mechanical, electrical civil engineering and other disciplines such as landscape design and interior design/material selections.
Contractors will use these detailed drawings to prepare their cost estimates.
